Decadent Chocolatey Coconut Valentine's Brownies (with a surprising ingredient)

(NOT low carb! Sorry)

A Valentine's Sweet treat that will be sure to be a Huge hit with your sweeties!

And it includes Protein!

These moist, rich, mouth watering brownies are going to have them wanting to go back for seconds!

Just grab a box, or two of your favorite brownie mix. Following package directions, stir in 1/4 cup of dark chocolate chips and toasted coconut flakes.

Preheat oven to 350°F (or suggested temperature according to your brownie mix directions).

I used choc zero keto approved, dark chocolate chips and Coconut beach toasted coconut chips. I found them at the dollar tree. The chips are larger than flakes and toasted! Win Win!

Stir all ingredients to combine.

Pour brownie batter into a 9x9 glass baking dish. Top with an additional 1/4 cup of chocolate chips and my favorite, Built Bar's newest and limited creation, Coconut Brownie Chunks . I just chop 2 protein bars into 1/2" pieces and scatter across the top of the batter.

Bake 40-45 minutes or until a fork or knife inserted into the center comes out almost clean.

Remove from oven and let cook 10-15 minutes.

Cut into 12 squares!

Serve as is or alongside your favorite ice cream (we had egg nog ice cream on hand) or top with whipped cream!

Serve and watch all of those smiles.

Enjoy!
